Calvillo helps Montreal come back against Edmonton

Calvillo completed 19-of-30 passes for 237 yards for the Alouettes (1-1), who are the defending Grey Cup Champions but lost in the opening week to Saskatchewan.

Ricky Ray threw for 340 yards and a touchdown for Edmonton (0-2), but the signal caller tossed two costly interceptions in the second half.

Trailing 23-11 late in the third quarter, Montreal scored three unanswered touchdowns to close out the contest. A pair of Calvillo touchdown passes sandwiched an interception return for a touchdown by Jerald Ray.

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- New York Mets pitcher Orlando Hernandez, sidelined at spring training because of arthritis in his neck, is expected to resume throwing on Tuesday.

Hernandez received a cortisone shot Thursday after leaving camp and returning to New York to have his neck examined. The 41-year-old right-hander is penciled in as the team's No. 2 starter behind Tom Glavine.

El Duque's health is a major issue for the Mets, who won the NL East in 2007 and came within one victory of the World Series. Their aging and unsettled rotation is a big question mark this year.
